Song that haunts my ear space every

Now and then, I find you.

A warm night with candles burning,

And passion white hot, your memory

Finds me and grips me like a vice.

If I close my eyes I can still feel

The tightness of your arms around me,

And the way that I felt your soul

Just as I know you felt mine.

Never have I known such intensity

With no fear, only surrender.

Your touch said more than words could

Ever convey, and your love

Surged through me like a tidal wave

In rush after rush.

Words were never our forte’

It was all about the rawness of the energy

That flowed between us; the way

You drank me in from head to toe

And touched me with so much

Need and desire.

There was electric energy in the room when we were there;

Like flames feeding on Oxygen, it grew.

My desire for you was consuming,

My need for you intoxicated and blinded me;

I so willingly gave in to it all.

I abandoned myself to loving you and I

Found shelter in your love for me.

You still come to me in moments of stillness,

Or the words of a random song, sometimes

I even see your face in a stranger I pass on the street.

Something in me won’t stop longing for you;

For the way you made me feel and the love

That you poured into me.

You will live on in the very essence of who I am,

And now and then I will rewind my memory and go back to

Your touch, your smile, your laugh, to you;

And I will smile for all that was.
