Fatale Is A Female Rapper Who Represents

Fatale Femme
Fatale is a female rapper who represents the boogy down Bronx, NYC. She is a struggling rapper aiming to claim her spot as a rising female rap star. Not to be confused with the comic book superhero.

F.A.T.A.L.E., one of the fiercest MC's in the tri-state area was born and raised in the birthplace of Hip-Hop--Da South Bronx. Surrounded by Hip-Hop all her life, she picked up the pad at 10 and began to pen her journey through adolescence in the ghetto, where she came up with one of her songs, "Letter to New York," where she gives it up to the 'hood. "ya little girls grown/holding her own/but before takin' the world by storm/had to come home; to where it all began; where me & rap fell in love; so New York – here I am”. New York has forever been where her heart lies, and with idols such as KRS One and Nas, F.A.T.A.L.E's primary focus has always been lyrics—giving the realness to the people.

Flaunting everything from her Latin roots, her evolution towards womanhood and her infinite spirituality, she embodies everything sought in an Artist today. Often coined as a “Female Nas” her music has a mission, a purpose and not simply empty words. To F.A.T.A.L.E this is more than music, it’s a movement. In a song off of her upcoming debut, "True Life," she gets into the pain of being molested at a young age, and how this affected her life. F.A.T.A.L.E says, "This is my life/this is my pain/it wasn't all good/but I'm getting through the rain/hey take a look at the real/and walk with me/and maybe take the time/and have a talk wit me," where she shows young women that although it feels like the end, the road still continues in that struggle we call LIFE.

After relocating from New York to Maryland for a few years, F.A.T.A.L.E began performing up and down the East Coast, in showcases, youth events, underground open mics and crusades, honing her skills as a performer. She has been in the circuit for years. In 2002, a trip back home to NY led her to an audition for the second season of MTV’s "Making the Band" where she was one of a small group of finalists to be called back to audition for Puff. Fortunately, fate had plans for this Lyrical Femm-Fatale to remain a solo artist where the opportunities are still coming her way. Not only are her performances and lyrics still going strong, but F.A.T.A.L.E., always the activist, is in the plans of starting her own community-based company, and is on her way to becoming a leading entrepreneur across the nation. She has been featured in several underground mix-tapes as well as music publications. Never the type to think local, F.A.T.A.L.E has collaborated on albums released in the UK and is currently working on a collaborative project in Africa.

In 2011 (a few years after returning home to NYC,) F.A.T.A.L.E crossed paths with Legendary DJ, producer and former Electra Recording Artist DJ Kevy Kev. Kev is most known for his time on The Rap Attack with Hip-hop veterans Marley Marl, Mr. Magic and Pete Rock. Along with former Electra recording artist Ak-B, DJ Kevy Kev made a mark in hip-hop during a classic era and solidified himself as a legend in his own right. The creative chemistry was instantaneous between himself and F.A.T.A.L.E, and soon they were a dynamic duo ready to take the industry by storm. With a nostalgic vibe such as when Rappers and DJs collaborated on shows and albums, these two are becoming a force to be reckoned with! In 2012 they released their first collaborative mix-tape titled “In Control” and are currently working on a studio album.

With a very certain hip hop future in her hands, F.A.T.A.L.E looks forward to the day where her music will emerge from the underground and be shared with the world. She believes that cream always rises to the top and with her DJ right be her side, and a talent that won't quit, the dream will most certainly become reality.
