I am just curious about this but why do black people and other darker skin minorities feel the need to
lighten their skin. Some say its because they can get ahead but that's bs. Once you are not white and especially once you identify with being black, things are going to be naturally harder for you. No escape from that.
Bleaching your skin won't make people like you more. But I think blacks and people of other cultures and races have been brainwashed to believe that
skin bleaching is good because lighter is beautiful. I think skin bleaching is a sing that black people hate themselves and in an attempt to escape, they
bleach their skin. In reality, they make themselves look like clowns and the rest of the world laughs at you. It's almost like giving everyone permission to say your dark skin is inferior and ugly. I don't get this.
