Suge Knight Swears Dr. Dre is Behind 2014 Attempted Murder Assassination - 'Apple' Are Enraged

While Suge is locked up, he is back in the headlines after reportedly filing a lawsuit claiming that Dr. Dre hired a hitman to murder him.

The Death Row criminal mogul filed a lawsuit against Dr Dre

According to sources, the lawsuit stems from the days of Death Row and a deal made stating that Dre had a lifetime management deal with Dre, which granted him 30 percent of Dre’s entertainment profits – so yes, Beats By Dre is a huge part of that. Suge says that once Beats, the popular headphone line, came along, Dre tried to swerve him on the deal and allegedly tried to cut him out altogether because Apple – which bought Beats by Dre – doesn’t want to be associated with his criminal lifestyle and especially with rumours associating him to Tupac's murder.

From there, allegedly Dre conjured a plan to hire someone to fatally attack Suge at '1 OAK', a Los Angeles night club, during the 2014 VMA's weekend. That night, Suge was shot seven times in the abdomen but recovered from his wounds.

No arrests have been made in that shooting. And as for who tipped Suge off to point the alleged plan attack at Dre, apparently L.A. Country Sheriff’s Dept. questioned a guy named T Money, who admitted to being paid by Dr. Dre to take Suge’s life.

On the other side of the lawsuit, TMZ reports that a lawyer for Dr. Dre stated that the former Death Row artist has had no interaction with Suge since leaving the record label in 1996.

A spokesperson for Apple stated:
Apple are a leading cooperation in the technological field and we pride ourselves on a history of excellence.  Had we been aware of such occurrence between Mr Knight and Dr Dre, we would never have signed the 'Beats By Dre' deal.  We have a reputation to uphold and, hoodies with murderous intent definitely isn't what we're about.  We will be reviewing contracts as of now.
